My daughter is dogsitting this fine canine specimen and brought him over for Thanksgiving. He is 50% Dalmation and 50% Dachsund. I know theres a joke about a dog on a stepstool in there somewhere.

It seems he was originally cast to star in Disney's megahit movie "101 1/2 Dalmations" but was forced out when his contract negotiations fell "short".

Don't fret though, he is doing nicely as a firetruck mascot in Munchkinland.

Thanks for looking,
Steve

Cute pup Steve. Nadine and I found a similarly cute and sorta "different" looking pup a couple of weeks ago. Someone was kind enough to drop her off in my neighborhood in Mississippi. She has a build similar to a Bassett Hound with all of the markings of a Rottweiler. We are actively trying to find her a good home with kids to play with.

A Dachmation?
A Bassweiler?
We have a Pitadour that we saved from the pound. Hybrids can sure be neat!
Dozier

He is quite and he looks very alert and awake. These dogs are often good alarm dogs to have inside the house at night.
