??? about propane torch head for one brick forge.

I just got done heating a knife blade for hardening on my great one brick forge. I use a torch similar to the one you are talking about. I also use a regular torch on one end, I even have another regular standing by to help with the third hole if the metal gets stubborn. It's not cheating, just cheaper than buying a bigger torch. happy days!
 
The brick has to be a real soft fire brick they get hotter faster. you should be able to hollow it out with a teaspoon and be light weight. I forgot to mention this. happy days again!
 
I use the Bernzomatic hose torch. Almost every Lowes carries them. They work excellent. If you need the insulation firebrick let me know I can get them pretty easy.
