Logo etching

Would it be feasible to use my power source purchased from Reactive Metals to etch my logo in steel?

I just purchased a stencil with my name to etch on to my blades and was going to purchase an etching machine, now I am wondering if the ac/dc power supply I have for anodizing titanium would work for etching too.

Has anyone done this?

Although I have 2 marking machines, I can and did etch with my 6/12 volt battery charger with good results. I would think your power source is a glorified battery charger like my Marking Methods etcher.

A DC power supply of between 9V-18V and approx. 800mA up to 3A will work for creating the impression. 24V can be used but is a bit much IMO. The blackening with AC can be done with less of both but the same ranges are workable.
