Just finished this one up yesterday made it as a birthday gift for my Dad his birthday was 9/25 so I'm a little late It is D2 with a 6" oal I used red wood scales that were given to me by Keith Willis and I borrowed the file work design from Jayson Fry. Thanks to both of ya'll I'm sure my Dad will love it. I went with the fish file work because he had seen one of Jason's knives that he really liked plus he is a preacher so I thought it would be fitting for him.100_0833.jpg100_0833.jpg

Thanks guys, Keith a friend of mine that use to install hot tub decks with red wood told me to put a couple coats of linseed oil on it I let that dry for a few days and put several coats of helmsmans spar urethane. I like the color that the linseed oil gave it but will do another using just the urethane so that I get more of the natural wood color. My Dad is out of town for a few days and has not seen it yet but showed it to my mom today and she loved it
God Bless
Rodney
