I built this using almost all traditional methods. carved sheath, ray skin under the handle wrap, mokume guard and clay quenched blade.
1095,
cherry wood sheath and handle with ray skin and leather wrap.
I also made the mokume for the guard.
I went off of the clay temper tutorial by Ed Caffery. thanks Ed, good tutorial.
