Some pre hardened 02

Got hold of some 02 planer blades 1 1/4" wide by .125 by 24" long and had them lasered into some knife-like shapes. They were hardened to 58rc so I decided to grind them up as is. It takes a lot of patience to keep it cool but I'm happy the way the first turned out. It is ground to 500 norax and polished. (no hand sanding!)

This profile is my Crooked Creek Hunter.

Thanks for looking,

Looks great, I hate hand sanding and hardly ever hand sand a blade.

Hand sanding is for handles and no more of that than necessary.:noway:

Nice. :35:

I learned how to grind "hard" at a Bark River Grind In.
Now, if I just had the talent to make them come out like that! :34:

Dang...I really like that profile, and for a machine finish that's great!
So,uh,what do you have in mind for 'em?...
If you need someone to test one for you,
the only fixed blade I'm packin' right now is a lil' double edged boot knife, and it ain't workin' for me...
