This is the CK-2 Hostile Duty Fixed Blade (one of 14 in the prototype batch).
It is made from a single piece of CPM154CM.
Blade Length: 3.5 inches
Blade Thickness: .200
Weight is 5.8 Ounces.
If you notice the cut-away/cross section CAD art, it reveals how a piece with this thickness through the handle section--in pure CPM154-- can maintain good balance and light weight. The handle features distal taper and the "grooves" vary in depth following the distal taper of the opposite side of the knife.
The wide (tall) blade was flat ground by Tom Krein and is a very aggressive slicer.
The Datamatrix mark on the backside of the blade reads:
Caswell Knives
CK-2 (prototype)
CPM154CM, Bos
If you have a phone with free datamatrix reader ap, you can probably read it right off your screen.
