Wayne, since I couldn't ship any brisket to you, and just the thought of a 600 mile trip made my back hurt, I figured I'd at least let you see one sliced up with the slicing knife I put together.

This is one of the blanks from the lot I purchased. NONE of the blanks have been sharpened so I had to do just a tad more than scale it... :3:

420 stainless
14" OAL
.0905" thick full length
9" cutting edge hollow ground
Mesquite scales with mosaic pics

The only way that I can get good briskit here is to smoke it myself. Thanks for the temptation. I will contact you the next time I am driving across Texas to my child hood home, in eastern New Mexico to visit my Mother. I have promised to come to her 95th birthday party next July.

How much for a knife blank?
 
To heck with the knife, how much for a pound of that brisket? Nice work on the knife and the brisket, Charlie. How did the knife hold up?
