Here are my 2nd and 3rd knives.

The 2nd knife is a upswept skinner made from a planter blade. 7-1/2" long overall with a 3-3/4" blade. Beautiful stabilized redwood burl handles, with mosaic pins.

Very nice work.

How'd you do that filework? I'd really like to try that, but I'm scared I might ruin an otherwise fine knife.....

Very nice I like the file work as well. I'm a bit spooked about doing anything fancy myself with file work.

i started practicing on a couple of junk chinese knives and some of my own pocketknives. also did some practicing on pieces of plexiglass on the edge, (1/4" wide) to see what kind of shape i could make with each file. Now i have fileworked each of my good pocketknives.
