Well,I just placed my order with Tracy.
I ordered some 60 and 80 grit.I hope to
get them this week.If they are as good as
you all say,I will be ordering them from now on.

God bless,Keith

They're awesome Keith. I guarantee you'll like them. If you don't, you can drop them off at my shop and I'll use them for you. :D

Frank is right , they like to go fast alot better than slower. If your running a slower belt use the Blue Norton Norzon belts. But when they are going fast , man they are HOGS

I may should have asked a little more.
My grinder has a 1 1/2 hp 1725 rpm.I always grind
with the belt on the center pully.
Do you guys think that will be fast enough?
Thanks for the help:confused::confused:

God bless,Keith

Ok guys,I need some help

I may need to try and contact Boss to try
and change my order.
Maybe someone could tell me if my
grinder is running fast enough. :beg:

I just had BLAZE on the brain,:Dand that
may not be what I need.

God bless,Keith

That is where I run my belt...and they work great.

Thanks Jeff,
They will be here this week,2thumbs
I have wanted to try them for a while,so I guess
I'll get my chance:D

God bless,Keith

The blaze belts will grab your finger tips real easy. When I first switched from the 377 3M belts to the blaze belts I stubbed my fingers half a dozen times before I finally caught on that they will grab you.
I like them, especially at higher speeds; they really remove the steel in a hurry.

I love 'em. I usually get about 50 or so knives , just doing the first grind , you know just gettin the bulk of the metal off. Scott

o.k...this is REALLY "mickey-mouse" I know,but it's all I have:
a friend has lent me his little 1" X 42",(not sure what rpm)
and I have a Delta 4" X 36" belt/disc sander (3450 rpm)
and a Rigid oscillating belt (4" X 24")/spindle sander (1350 rpm)...
are there belts in these sizes that I can use for profiling blanks and maybe
even do flat-grinds with?
The belts available for these tools don't last worth beans for doing what I'm doing now, much less profiling and roughing out med sized blades...

great! Thanks Keith!!
I've looked around here and couldn't find any belts that lasted very long working metal, even just for the light duty work that I use them for now.
