Nice knife. As a rule I also don't like most two wood handles, but this one works. Probably because the grain doesn't clash like ironwood burl and curly maple would. The black ebony is subtle and allows the grain and color of the ironwood to stand out without being over powered.

The knife, especially the handle shape, reminds me of the old "Stormbringer" design that Ray Cover, Joe Kious, and several other makers made back in the 80's.

Thanks for your comments! When I do a two wood handle, the "bolster wood" is usually macassar ebony, not always but usually. I like the macassar ebony because it has light gold streaks running though it along with being chocolate brown, so it is not just a single color and it will go with any wood grain.
